Uviwe is located at the central hub of healthcare in East London; Southernwood. Olwethu offers a wide range of psychotherapeutic services for individuals (adolescents and adults), couples therapy & family therapy to name a few. She practices in different modalities given the presenting concern and the scope of the intervention. Olwethu Mncono is au fait with Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy, as well as Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
Olwethu has experience in working in Forensic Psychiatry at South Africa’s only Psychiatric Maximum Security Unit: Fort England Hospital. She has a proven track record in working with cases related to section 79 of the Criminal Procedure Act of 1977, Medical Negligence and RAF Assessments. Her areas of specialty are conducting Neuropsychological Assessments as well as Medico-Legal assessments.
